“I've actually seen both Dr Peterson and Dr Ryan. They are professional yet very compassionate. Dr Ryan replaced my right hip this past Dec. I'm extremely pleased! Dr Peterson will be performing bilateral laminectomy on me this Feb 27. I expect I will be extremely pleased with the results as well.”

"My experience with Dr. Peterson was nothing but good. The staff in his office were always helpful and cheerful. I enjoyed the doctor's summary of my visits and his supply copies to the people who needed a copy and made aware of my progress." – Judy B.
"Dr. Peterson and his staff are excellent in all areas. Dr. Peterson explained every single step of my upcoming surgery, and on the morning after was there to check on me personally. On my follow-up visit, he was attentive and listened to all of my concerns, while explaining away my fears, etc. His staff has called to check on me (I live in a different town, and as such, am long distance from his office) which is extremely appreciated." – Sharon H.
"Dr. Prevost referred me to Dr. Peterson because of lingering pain in my lower back. Dr. Peterson carefully explained what he thought was the cause of the pain and recommended treatment by a pain control specialist. I appreciate the time that Dr. Peterson took with my wife and I to explain what the cause was and that this was the best conservative approach to take at this time. I appreciate his candor and professionalism, he is always pleasant to talk to and is a person whose judgement I can readily trust." – David S.
"Third injury and still ticking. Glad we continue to avoid the inevitable surgery. That is provided I chose to not slow down but why would I want to do that!" – Paul S.
"I'm 84 years old, I fell on March 16, 2015. Broke my right arm I was sent to Dr. Peterson, he's wonderful doctor, very caring." – Billie E.
"After a very successful neck fusion 14 years ago, I took a bad fall on the ice, and realized I needed to have things checked out. Everyone was very attentive, and I felt they really listened when I was describing my symptoms. I had fractured my neck, but Dr. Peterson was very thorough and has a wonderful, calm presence that put me at ease. The treatment plan took into account my activity level and goals, which allowed me to get on with life. They have a great team and partners to have a healthy lifestyle." -- Janeece H.
"I have been seeing the staff at Anchorage Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic as a patient since 1997. Dr. Ryan has given me two new knees, my right in 1997, and my left in 2011. He also performed a hip replacement for my left hip in 2010, which unfortunately was recalled by the manufacturer only a few years later in 2012. In 2013, Dr. Prevost removed the recalled hip implant and gave me a second new hip. Also in 2013, Dr. Prevost did a total shoulder replacement on my right shoulder. Dr. Prevost then did a total shoulder replacement on my left shoulder in 2014. Not to be outdone, Dr. Peterson repaired significant degradation in my lower lumbar spine to correct severe arthritic and disc damage. He was also able to correct nerve impairment in my right hand in 2014, which was caused by the extensive use of crutches in the past several years. I cannot forget the great PA-C's, who were always there to help me, especially David Wonchala, Glen Welker, and Kimberly Hand. After each of these procedures, I was skillfully guided to a sound recovery by the wonderful staff at the Anchorage Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic physical therapy offices. Thanks to the able hands and skill of Annette Rohde, Yasmin Lechtenberg, and Holly McClure, I had terrific guidance on how to get back to daily activity. I can't say enough about the caring and kindness each of the nurses and office staff showed in my many visits. The doctors, nurses, physician’s assistants, physical therapists, and office staff are my favorite people. Without them, I have no idea how miserable my life would have been. I can never thank you enough." -- David S.
