Telephone Calls Your call is important to us. When you call for an appointment, please listen to the telephone instructions directing you to the appointment desk. The appointment personnel will ask you some basic questions about the reason for your call, such as how and when you were injured, and whether you have already seen a physician for the condition. They will then schedule you to see one of the AFOC physicians as quickly as possible, in a time-frame acceptable to your condition, or refer you to another outside physician if that is the most appropriate course of care. When you call for the doctor or nurse, our operator will take the necessary information and relay it to the appropriate person. We will return your call at the earliest opportunity. In case of emergency, your call will be returned immediately. |
