A Physician Assistant is a health care professional licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. PA-Cs conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care, and assist in surgery. Our PA-Cs have undergone extensive training in orthopedics and are certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). To maintain their certified status, they must log 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and take a recertification exam every six years. Our PA-Cs work closely with our physicians to ensure the best possible care for every patient. |
